Occupational Health Services

Occupational health services are medical examinations tailored to the professional environment. It is ideal for employers wanting to take an in depth look at their employee’s welfare and identify any potential issues which could jeopardise their productivity at work or look at current issues affecting their work and suggest resolutions to these.

Often occupational health assessments will be conducted with absentees to get a deeper understanding of the causes of the absence and identify measures which can be put in place to support the individual and accelerate recovery.

MERT International’s occupational health specialists are ideally and uniquely placed to support and help people stay in work and live full and healthy lives. They play a key role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of the workforce, by preventing work-related ill health and providing sign posting for specialist assessment and advice. We provide independent, impartial advice to employers and employees on the effects of work on health.

As well as addressing issues that occur, a lot of the work of an occupational health service is proactive, aiming to reduce potential problems in the workplace.
